I specialise in helping adults who are struggling with:
However, I can also help with issues such as:
My approach is in the integrative and transpersonal tradition of psychotherapy. This means that I use a wide range of therapeutic languages, models and tools. If we work together, I’ll use those that are appropriate to you and your circumstances.
In our sessions together, we can consider things such as your early life, work, relationships and feelings.
We can also look at spiritual aspects of life, where sometimes it’s possible to find meaning. If the word ‘spiritual’ has bad associations for you (and it does for some), don’t worry. My practice is not aligned with any particular religion.
I draw on many practices including visualisations, roleplay and breathing. The most common method, however, is one we are all familiar with: a conversation between two people.
It often amazes me what can be achieved just through talking, when we are free to express whatever is going on in our minds in sympathetic and non-judgemental company.
From my own experience, therapy can be both fun and at times daunting. It does not always have to be serious, so I will use humour at times, as it can help.
I see clients for short or long-term therapy at my practice rooms in:
Usually, we’ll see each other at the same time each week.
Currently, I have availability on Tuesdays and Fridays.
